Caring for AIDS affected children means much more than just distributing a piece of bread, or providing a school uniform. It means more than just telling a child, “Jesus loves you” and walking away. Instead, it means considering each and every aspect of a child’s developmental needs: physical, spiritual, and educational, and providing solutions that address them.
Through Christ’s Hope International’s Ministry CarePoints we provide the life changing care, message of hope and continuous community support required to meet these needs!
What is a Ministry CarePoint?
A Ministry CarePoint is Christ’s Hope International’s primary point of care and ministry to children and families in need. Strategically located in areas with high HIV infection rates, Ministry CarePoints are the central place where communities come together to assist children.
Through Ministry CarePoints, Christ’s Hope provides the tools, training and assistance necessary to ensure that vulnerable children can live with extended or foster families – to ensure family preservation.
Our Strategy is Simple
Ministry CarePoint Champions facilitate the launch of new Ministry CarePoints through financial support; a Church Partner supports the Ministry CarePoint through prayer, advocacy, and sending teams to help; and Child Sponsors support each child in the Ministry CarePoint, resulting in a sustainable Ministry CarePoint
How Do We Know This Is Effective?
Each CarePoint must meet Christ’s Hope International’s standards of effective care as measured through outcome evaluations. The following program attributes are assessed qualitatively and quantitatively.
