DR Congo
Christ’s Hope has seven CarePoints in DR Congo, all in Kinshasa, one of Africa’s largest cities and home to around 17 million people.

7 CarePoints
Our CarePoints are in some of the city’s poorest neighbourhoods, where most adults have no steady work and school fees are beyond many families. Children come to the CarePoint from their own homes, and the staff know each family.
Maman Mobutu
A hillside community where the 2011 rains washed away eleven houses. Christ’s Hope DR Congo opened its first CarePoint here, and Manzanza shares the building.
Camp Luka
Jamaique, south-west Kinshasa
A crowded district in the south-west of the city. The four CarePoints share one building.
What happens at every CarePoint: a cooked meal, help with school, care when they’re ill, and Bible teaching. A day at a CarePoint, hour by hour
