Our Mission

Empowering orphaned and vulnerable children to break the cycles of extreme poverty, AIDS, and spiritual brokenness through family-based care.

Our Vision

Transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in extreme poverty, so they can become leaders of hope in their communities.

Our Hallmark

Uncompromisingly Biblical, Unashamedly Christian. Faith is the foundation of every CarePoint, every meal, every lesson.

How we work

The CarePoint model

Children stay with extended family. CarePoints support them where they live.

Family first

Children stay with grandparents, aunts, siblings — not in orphanages. The CarePoint supplements what family already gives.

Daily care

Meals, tutoring, emotional support, medical care, and discipleship — every CarePoint day, for every child enrolled.

Locally led

Every CarePoint is run by African staff serving their own communities. We fund the work; they do the work.

Who's behind it

A UK charity in a global family

Christ's Hope UK is a registered charity in England & Wales, led by Matt Sims and overseen by a UK board of trustees. We raise support in the UK and channel it to the field.

Christ's Hope International (christshope.org) is our global partner organisation, coordinating the CarePoints and national teams across Africa. The work on the ground is done by African staff serving their own communities — over two decades of it.

We're small — and that's a feature. When you contact Christ's Hope UK, a real person answers, and your giving lands somewhere you can name.
