£40 per month. This covers daily meals, school support, medical care, emotional and spiritual mentoring, and all the running costs of the CarePoint where your sponsored child attends.
How is my sponsorship money used?
Sponsorship funds support comprehensive care — meals, schooling, medical care, emotional support, Christian mentoring, and CarePoint operating costs. We publish full accounts annually and every pound is tracked.
Will I hear from the child I sponsor?
Yes. You'll receive photos, updates, and letters from your sponsored child throughout the year. Many sponsors write back — and we pass your letters on to them at the CarePoint.
Can I change or cancel my sponsorship?
Absolutely — though we'd love to hear why first. You can cancel a PayPal subscription any time from your PayPal account, or email hello@christshope.uk and we'll handle it.
The CarePoint Model
What is a CarePoint?
A CarePoint is a local, safe centre where vulnerable children receive daily essentials — meals, education, healthcare, emotional support, and spiritual guidance — while continuing to live with their extended family. Every CarePoint is run by local staff.
Why not orphanages?
We believe the best place for a child is with family — even if that's a grandmother, aunt, or older sibling. The CarePoint supports the family to care for the child, rather than removing the child from everything they know.
Can I visit a CarePoint?
Yes — visits are welcome and encouraged. Please contact us in advance so we can help arrange logistics and ensure a safe, meaningful experience for both you and the children.
Giving & Gift Aid
Is Christ's Hope a registered charity?
Yes. We're registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales under charity number 1098630, and registered as a company under number 04742271.
What is Gift Aid and can I claim it?
If you pay UK income tax or capital gains tax, Gift Aid lets us reclaim 25p on every £1 you give at no cost to you. That means a £40 gift becomes £50 — just by ticking the Gift Aid box when you give.
How can I pay? Can I give by bank transfer?
We accept PayPal (debit/credit cards, no PayPal account needed), Stewardship (our preferred partner), and direct bank transfer. Email hello@christshope.uk for bank details.
Can I leave Christ's Hope a gift in my will?
Yes, and it's one of the most impactful ways to support our work long-term. We can put you in touch with a solicitor who specialises in charity legacies — just email hello@christshope.uk.

Where does the UK office fit into the global charity?
