£40 per month. This provides meals, school support, medical care, and emotional and spiritual mentoring at the CarePoint your sponsored child attends.

100% of your monthly gift goes to the CarePoint caring for your sponsored child. The Gift Aid we reclaim funds the UK charity's work. We publish full accounts every year, and they are on the public register.

Yes — one sponsor per child. When we match you, it is with a child who doesn't yet have a sponsor.

You can tell us if you'd prefer a boy or a girl, and which country or CarePoint you'd like to support. We don't ask you to pick a child from a set of profiles. Our CarePoint staff know the children best, and they know who most needs a sponsor, so they make the match and we send you your child's details.

They receive the same care as every other child at the CarePoint. Sponsorship is how that care is paid for — it doesn't decide who gets it.

Yes. You'll receive photos, updates, and letters from your sponsored child throughout the year. Many sponsors write back — and we pass your letters on to them at the CarePoint.

Yes, at any time — there is no minimum term, though we'd love to hear why first. A standing order can be stopped with your bank, and a Stewardship gift from your Stewardship account. Or just email hello@christshope.uk and we'll help.

A CarePoint is a local, safe centre where vulnerable children receive daily essentials — meals, education, healthcare, emotional support, and spiritual guidance — while continuing to live with their extended family. Every CarePoint is run by local staff.

We believe the best place for a child is with family — even if that's a grandmother, aunt, or older sibling. The CarePoint supports the family to care for the child, rather than removing the child from everything they know.

Yes — visits are welcome and encouraged. Please contact us in advance so we can help arrange logistics and ensure a safe, meaningful experience for both you and the children.

Yes. We're registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales under charity number 1098630, and registered as a company under number 04742271. You can view our register entry — trustees, filings and accounts are all public.

If you pay UK income tax or capital gains tax, Gift Aid lets us reclaim 25p on every £1 you give at no cost to you. That means a £40 gift becomes £50. If you give through Stewardship, it adds Gift Aid automatically; otherwise we'll ask you to complete a short Gift Aid declaration.

We accept PayPal (debit/credit cards, no PayPal account needed), Stewardship (our preferred partner), and direct bank transfer or standing order. Email hello@christshope.uk for bank details.

Yes — a gift in a will can fund care at a CarePoint for years. We can put you in touch with a solicitor who specialises in charity legacies — just email hello@christshope.uk.

Christ's Hope UK is part of Christ's Hope International, which operates across seven sub-Saharan African countries. The UK branch raises funds, engages sponsors, builds church partnerships, and shares stories from the field.
