14 CarePoints
Nyahera, Kisumu
Our first CarePoint in Kenya, in a farming village north of Kisumu. It meets at Wachara Polytechnic School.
Manyatta, Kisumu
A crowded neighbourhood just east of Kisumu’s centre, where many families have no steady work and children often go hungry.
Ombeyi, Kisumu county
A rural village among sugar cane and rice fields, about 20 miles east of Kisumu. The rains bring floods, and with them malaria, and the nearest hospital is a long journey away.
Nyalenda, Kisumu
Beside our Kenya country office in Kisumu.
Mathare, Nairobi
One of Nairobi’s oldest and most crowded neighbourhoods, in a valley three miles east of the city centre. Many children live with one parent or a grandparent, often without steady work.
What happens at every CarePoint: a cooked meal, help with school, care when they’re ill, and Bible teaching. A day at a CarePoint, hour by hour
