Mwanza is built among granite hills on the lake shore, and its nickname, Rock City, gave one of our CarePoints its name. Lakeview and Bugarika sit high on a hill looking out over the water, and City Centre serves families from Sahara, Bugando and Bugarika. Many families here live from fishing and the city’s factories, often without steady work.
