Walk for Hope 2025 – Details
This October, supporters will be taking part in the second Walk for Hope to raise vital funds for children living in extreme poverty across sub-Saharan Africa.
For over 20 years, Christ’s Hope International UK has been caring for vulnerable and disadvantaged children through our locally-run CarePoints. At these CarePoints, children receive daily meals, health and hygiene support, tutoring, mentoring, and discipleship from dedicated local caregivers. Our goal is to help every child grow up within a safe and loving family in their own community.
In 2023, the first Walk for Hope raised funds for our CarePoint in Uganda. Thanks to generous sponsorship, we were able to provide 100 bedding packs—mattresses, sheets, blankets, and mosquito nets—so children no longer had to sleep on bare floors. The CarePoint also improved its washing and toilet facilities. You can read more about how those funds were used and the difference they made, Uganda CarePoint improvements.
This year, the Walk for Hope team will cover 30 miles through Derbyshire’s Hope Valley, walking from Edale to Eyam over three days, 10–12 October 2025. Every step is taken to give children in Africa hope for a brighter future.
How you can help
