What we do
We run Ministry CarePoints — local, community-based centres where orphaned and vulnerable children receive regular care while staying with their extended family. Not orphanages. Family-first, community-led, faith-centred.
Family, not institution
Traditional orphanages separate children from everything they know. We believe the best place for a child is with family — even if that family is a grandmother, an aunt, or older siblings.
The CarePoint is a safe, loving, locally-run centre that supplements what family already gives. Cooked meals, homework help, medical care, emotional support, and Christian discipleship — all without removing the child from the people who love them.

Prevention
Poverty and illness can pull a family apart. The CarePoint steps in before that happens — supporting guardians so a crisis doesn't become a separation, and children stay where they belong: in families.
Stabilisation
Consistent care — meals, school support, medical help, mentoring and discipleship from staff who know each child by name — moves a child from crisis to steady ground.
Transformation
Guardians equipped, local leaders trained, churches alongside — families and communities growing strong enough to carry the care themselves. The goal is ownership, not dependency.
The five pillars of care
Every CarePoint delivers on all five — because a child needs more than just food.
Physical
Nutritious cooked meals. Hygiene and health education. Basic medical care and referrals. Sports and recreation.
Intellectual
Homework support and tutoring. School uniform and fee support where needed. HIV awareness and life-skills education.
Emotional
One-to-one mentoring. Wellbeing support. Trauma counselling for children who have lost parents or witnessed hardship.
Relational
Home visits to the extended family. Support and training for the guardians who raise each child. Strengthening local networks so communities care for their own.
Spiritual
Biblical teaching in the child's heart language. Discipleship. Connection into a local church family for life beyond the CarePoint.
