New Toilets and Wash Area at the Uganda CarePoint
We are delighted to share that important improvements have recently been completed at our Ministry CarePoint (MCP) in Uganda, thanks in part to the funds raised through Walk for Hope 2023.
For some time, children and caregivers faced challenges with overcrowding and limited facilities. To address this, a new urinal and sink block has been built — designed to be practical, durable and environmentally considerate. This upgrade has eased congestion, improved hygiene and created a safer, more dignified environment for everyone at the CarePoint.
A Real Difference
These new facilities are already bringing daily relief. With better sanitation, children can focus on learning, playing and growing in confidence, while caregivers can spend more time on their vital support work. It’s a small change that makes a real difference to everyday life.
A Message of Thanks
Our colleagues in Uganda have shared their gratitude:
“On behalf of our entire team, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks for your generous support in funding the urinal and sink installation project. Thanks to your contribution, the work has been successfully completed, and the new facilities are already making a significant impact at the MCP.
Your commitment to improving sanitation and hygiene standards has brought not just infrastructure, but dignity and relief to those who will benefit daily. May the Lord bless you for your support.”
We are so thankful to everyone who contributed. Together, we are building healthier, safer spaces where children can thrive.
