For churches & Christian networks

Give your church a real family in Africa.

A named CarePoint for your congregation to adopt and pray for — with real news coming back from the field.

The problem we solve for your church

Mission partnerships shouldn't be a faceless direct debit

Your congregation has a heart for global mission, but most charity partnerships come down to a standing order and an annual report nobody reads. There's no particular place your church knows, and no story to bring back on a Sunday morning.

Partnering with Christ's Hope is a practical way for your congregation to live out James 1:27 — caring for orphans in their distress — alongside the global body of Christ.

Why Christ's Hope

Four things we can offer that big charities can't

Family-based care, not institutions

We don't run orphanages. CarePoints are rooted in local families and communities across seven African countries. Children stay in or near their families; the CarePoint comes alongside them.

Your church can adopt a whole CarePoint

Our most distinctive offer. Rather than an anonymous gift, your congregation adopts one named CarePoint — a real community of around 46 children and their families. You pray for it by name. You hear back from it. One day, your team can visit it.

You see where it goes

Partner churches receive updates from the specific CarePoint they support, and the results of the care are published — among the girls in the movement's care, teen pregnancy is 98% lower than statistically expected.

A real person, not a call centre

We're a small UK charity, and we answer the phone ourselves. We'll come and speak to your congregation, your small group or your missions committee — no charge, no pressure.

As a mission partner

What your church gets

  • A named CarePoint to call your own — a tangible place for your congregation's prayers and giving
  • Ready-made discipleship content — a 15-minute talk, a kids'-group activity, and prayer points your team can use immediately
  • Stories back to the congregation — real field updates to share from the front on mission Sundays
  • A turnkey global-mission relationship — you want an overseas link; we hand you one and keep it alive
  • Gift Aid handled for you — your congregation's giving goes 25% further
  • Low-commitment entry — start with prayer or a short talk; grow to a full CarePoint adoption in your own time
The ask

How partnership starts

No commitment, no collection plate — just a conversation.

A 30-minute conversation

We share the vision, listen to your church's mission priorities, and together explore whether this is a good fit.

A talk or a visit

If it feels right, we come and give a 10–15 minute missions slot, or host a small-group evening — whatever suits your congregation.

An appeal and a CarePoint

When you're ready: a simple Sunday appeal, your congregation signs up, and you get a CarePoint to adopt. The relationship begins.

Please pray today for these children, and for the local team who care for them.

A different CarePoint each day — everyone visiting today prays for this one.

Common questions

Asked by every missions committee

Is Christ's Hope a Christian organisation?
Yes. We work across denominations and our faith is central to how we operate. CarePoints are rooted in local Christian communities. We're unapologetically Christian — and we serve every child, regardless of background.

What does sponsorship cost?
£40 a month per child — daily meals, schooling support, medical care and mentoring. Gift Aid makes it £50 of support at no extra cost to the giver.

What if we already support another charity?
Many of our partner churches do. Adopting a CarePoint doesn't require exclusivity — it gives your congregation one specific, deep relationship alongside whatever else they're doing.

How do we know the money reaches the children?
Christ's Hope UK is a registered charity (1098630) working with Christ's Hope International's field structures. Partner churches receive updates from their own CarePoint, and our impact page sets out the outcomes, the figures behind them, and how they're measured.
