Uganda
All six of our CarePoints in Uganda meet at Christ’s Hope’s ministry centre in Bweyogerere, a crowded, fast-growing town on Kampala’s eastern edge.
- 6 CarePoints
- 240 children
- Since 2015
- Bweyogerere, east of Kampala
6 CarePoints
Children live with their families and come to the CarePoint for learning, Bible teaching, meals and play, and staff help with school costs and keep an eye on how each child is doing. There are few other organisations helping in the area. The community is more settled than in many poor parts of Kampala, which helps children keep a steady routine of school, CarePoint and church.

What happens at every CarePoint: a cooked meal, help with school, care when they’re ill, and Bible teaching. A day at a CarePoint, hour by hour
